Why is it beneficial to wear a sauna hat in the sauna?

Sauna bathing, health, and a natural lifestyle go hand in hand.
A sauna session is all about relaxation, stress relief, detoxification, and escaping the pressures of everyday life. Its many health benefits include improved circulation, a stronger immune system, increased resistance to illness and infections, temporary relief from muscle and joint pain, and even appetite suppression.

At the same time, the intense heat of the sauna places considerable strain on the body and can be difficult to tolerate. Wearing a felt sauna hat is highly recommended to reduce this effect, and it has become increasingly popular as sauna culture continues to grow.
A sauna hat protects your head and hair from overheating during sauna sessions. Each model takes at least 5–6 hours to create. My felt hats are handcrafted by working wool fibers together with water and olive soap before being shaped on traditional hat blocks. Most of my designs are inspired by nature, perfectly reflecting the natural and authentic spirit of sauna culture.

All models shown here can be ordered in custom sizes ranging from 54 to 62, where the size corresponds to the head circumference measured above the ears in centimeters.
